Youth Ministries

Berean Baptist Church is a family church. We believe strongly that young people are the future of church, and that raising them “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4) is not only a family’s responsibility, but also that of the church. Our youth ministry program attempts to effectively communicate the message of Scripture to young people in a context that fits their generation.

Sunday School

Sunday school for teens begins at 9:30 am every Sunday in the most awesome intern’s office/classroom. The group is currently working their way expositionally through John’s Revelation. This is a great time for teens to bring hard questions, and discover what God has to say about the topic.

The Rock youth group

Jesus Christ is the Rock of the church, and he has imparted his wisdom to people in the form of lessons from the gospel as well as through the overall message of Scripture. Jesus said, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7.24). The Rock Youth Group infuses expositional Bible teaching with fun illustrations, games, food, and other activities such as camping and snowshoeing. The group is currently studying about Israel’s Exodus from Egypt. The Rock Youth group meets every Thursday evening at 6:30 (except in the event of multiple activities in a week). We send e-mails that inform of upcoming events and activities to the teens and their families so that everybody stays up-to-date with what is going on.
