Educational Program
Educational Seminars and EMPOWER Lunches
Seminars, workshops, forums, EMPOWER lunches are open and available to
people living with HIV and AIDS, family members, friends, partners, caregivers
and anyone in the community wanting to increase knowledge of HIV and AIDS.
This educational program draws on well-known professionals to provide
information and resources relevant to people living with HIV and AIDS.
This program exposes the community to cutting-edge information, allows for
interaction with time allocated for a question and answer segment.
A meal (lunch or dinner) is provided and reservations are necessary.

Big 7 Series - Living Well with HIV and AIDS
A Series of 7 seminars have been specially designed to provide ongoing
information and education to the greater Orange County HIV and AIDS
community, through a collaborative effort between Shanti Orange County
and AIDS Services Foundation.
These seminars take place the second Tuesday of each month, with the
exception of December.
The purpose of these seminars is to provide information regarding medical
treatment, medical information and prevention messages to stop the spread
of AIDS.
