Welcome to the Titan Battalion!

The Reserve Officer Training Corps is a leadership program that enables college and university students to gain a commision and hold appointed office as an Officer upon graduation. The TITAN BATTALION is the Army ROTC cadet battalion on the campus of California State University Fullerton, serving students from all of Orange County and other area universities and colleges.

Army ROTC is a college elective course you can take thatcould give you a real advantage when combined with your college education. It's a course that not only teaches you the principles of management (and more importantly, leadership), but also gives you the opportunity to lead. It's a course that tells future employers that you've had real-life Every semester starts with a fun welcome ack social event.experience handling people and solving problems, that you are goal orientated, and not only that you've been trained to work with a team, but know how to LEAD a team.

This is your chance to add muscle to your college career. No matter what your major, ROTC gives you the confidence and experience needed to be a success in college and beyond.

On top of your normal college course load as a full time student, you can gain additional leadership skills and accept a scholarship to pay for your classes. Not only does ROTC provide scholarships, but it offers a chance for you to accept a presidential commission to become an Army Officer on Active Duty, or within the Army Reserve, or the Army National Guard. You can receive a full-ride scholarship while gaining the finest leadership training in the world—all on the path to accept a commission as an Officer. ROTC is not an enlistment. Instead, it is a leadership program that prepares college students to hold appointed office.

Successful completion of Army ROTC results in our Cadets achieving their commission as Army Officers, with the initial rank of Second Lieutenant.  Army Officersfcsd choose to serve full-time on active duty or as “Citizen Soldiers” here in California through the Army Reserve or the California Army National Guard.  Whether serving full-time or part-time, Army Officers lead, direct, and motivate Soldiers and make a positive difference in their lives, their families, and civilian team-members in the Army Team.  Through their highly competitive skills, acquired through Army ROTC,many of our graduates serving as “Citizen Soldiers”,serve our communities by occupying key positions in academia, law enforcement, government, as well as the private sector.

Immediately after graduation, you will be leading anywhere from 20 to 40 Soldiers. But whether you're leading thousands of Soldiers or heading a major corporation later on, holding a commission as an Officer of the U.S. Army is an honor. Being an Officer means you have the skills to succeed and to accomplish any task. Throughout your life, you'll inspire others, accept challenge and command respect. And you'll know what it means to be the BEST.
