Outreach

We have a glorious gospel to share with others.  The good news is knowing that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, died for our sins.  He was buried.  And three days later, He rose from the grave.  There are a number of venues in Southeastern Idaho where we seek to reach out with the message of Christ:  (1) second Sundays of the month in the Bonneville County Jail, (2) on fifth Sundays in the St. Anthony Juvenile Detention Center, (3) a cub scouts and boy scouts program, (4) Vacation Bible School, (5) Ammon Antics that takes place each Halloween, (6) and monthly game nights.

Jail Ministry

On every second Sunday of the month, men and women head to the Bonneville County Jail for services.  We teach God and His gospel to two groups of ladies.  And then at 2:00pm, we hold services for six groups of men.  Each service lasts around a half hour.  The men will usually sing a song or two, and then we will preach the Word of God to them.  We are thankful for these evangelistic opportunities at the jail.  If you are interested in this particular ministry, please call Mel Daniel at 523-4166.

St. Anthony

The state of Idaho has three juvenile correction centers (JCC). Our nearest JCC facility is located in the town of St. Anthony off of highway 20 approximately 40 miles North East of Idaho Falls. Berean is currently scheduled to hold religious services for the juveniles during the months that have five Sundays. The Protestant service begins at 11:15 am and goes until 12:25 am. Religious services generally consist of worship music, a Bible knowledge game, Scripture readings, a Bible message, and prayer time. This is an excellent opportunity to share the love of Jesus with some of the areas most hurting young people.
