Adult Ministries

We desire for our adult ministries to be summarized by this verse, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). Four foundational pillars emerge from our thinking about this: Word, Worship, Love, and Gospel.

Children’s Ministries

We have Sunday School teachers for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9:30. In the middle of the week, pre-school and elementary aged children are invited to attend Patch the Pirate Club, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday nights. On Fridays every other week from 4:00-5:30 pm, Pam Miller hosts in her home a Christian club for girls called “Keepers at Home”.

Youth Ministries

Berean Baptist Church is a family church. We believe strongly that young people are the future of church, and that raising them “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4) is not only a family’s responsibility, but also that of the church. Our youth ministry program attempts to effectively communicate the message of Scripture to young people in a context that fits their generation.

Outreach

We have a glorious gospel to share with others. The good news is knowing that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, died for our sins. He was buried. And three days later, He rose from the grave. There are a number of venues in Southeastern Idaho where we seek to reach out with the message of Christ: (1) second Sundays of the month in the Bonneville County Jail, (2) on fifth Sundays in the St. Anthony Juvenile Detention Center, (3) a cub scouts and boy scouts program, (4) Vacation Bible School, (5) Ammon Antics that takes place each Halloween, (6) and monthly game nights.

Prayer Ministry

On Wednesday nights, we share prayer requests and pray as a church family. Also, on Thursday mornings, 6:30 a.m., we gather for prayer meetings that typically extend for an hour.
